The KidDotComs Privacy Policy describes how we treat personal information when you use KidDotComs' products and services,
including information provided when your children access their profiles.
At KidDotComs, we recognize that privacy is important and even more so to parents of young children.
Personal information
-
You need a KidDotComs Account to access KidDotComs. KidDotComs requires some personal
information when you create a KidDotComs Account, including your e-mail address, name and a password,
which is used to protect your account from unauthorized access. A KidDotComs Account must be activated by
visiting a kiddotcoms.com website link which verifies the account e-mail address.
-
KidDotComs processes and maintains your account, profiles, website lists and other data related to your
account in order to provide the service to you.
-
When you use KidDotComs, KidDotComs' servers automatically record certain information about
your use of the service. Similar to other web services, KidDotComs records information such as
account activity (number of log-ins, number of profile visits), data displayed or clicked
on (including UI elements, links); and other log information (including browser type,
IP-address, date and time of access, cookie ID, and referrer URL).

-
KidDotComs maintains and processes your account and its contents to provide the KidDotComs service
to you and to improve our services. The KidDotComs service includes lists of reviewed child-oriented websites, recommendations of
other sites that fit your accounts usage, reports and other information related to your accounts use of KidDotComs.
-
KidDotComs' computers process the visits and linked websites in your profiles for various purposes, including recommendations
to other account holders, ranking popularity of websites, tracking usage for reporting purposes, and other
purposes relating to offering you KidDotComs.
-
KidDotComs may send you information related to your KidDotComs account or other KidDotComs services.
Information sharing and onward transfer
-
When a profile link is clicked, KidDotComs tracks which link was activated and forwards the user on to the selected site.
-
We do not sell, rent or otherwise share your personal information with any third parties except in the limited
circumstances described in the KidDotComs Privacy Policy, such as when we believe we are required to do so by law.
-
If KidDotComs becomes involved in a merger, acquisition, or any form of sale of some or all of its assets, we will
provide notice before personal information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
-
We may share with third parties certain pieces of aggregated, non-personal information, such as the number of users
who visited a particular site, for example, or how many users have a particular link in their profile.
Such information does not identify you, your account or your children.
